Welcome to Uxbridge Self Storage. Please carefully read these Terms and Conditions before using our storage services. By renting a storage unit, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms.
1. Rental Agreement
The rental agreement outlines the terms under which you are renting a storage unit from Uxbridge Self Storage.
1.1 Duration of Rental
- Monthly Rentals: Units are rented on a month-to-month basis.
- Long-term Rentals: Discounts available for rentals exceeding six months.
1.2 Unit Allocation
Upon signing the rental agreement, you will be assigned a specific storage unit. It is your responsibility to ensure that the unit meets your storage needs.
2. Payment Terms
Payments are due on the first day of each month. Late payments may incur additional fees as outlined in the payment schedule.

- Credit/Debit Cards
- Bank Transfers
- Checks
2.2 Late Fees
A late fee of $25 will be charged if the monthly payment is not received within five days of the due date.
3. Access to Unit
You are entitled to access your storage unit 24/7. Ensure that you carry your access key at all times to avoid any inconvenience.
3.1 Security Measures
- All units are secured with electronic gates.
- Surveillance cameras monitor the premises continuously.
- Personal locks are required for added security.
3.2 Lost Key Policy
In the event of a lost key, you must notify management immediately. A replacement fee of $50 will be charged.
4. Prohibited Items
To maintain a safe and secure environment, the following items are strictly prohibited in any storage unit:
- Flammable or explosive materials
- Perishable goods
- Hazardous chemicals
- Illegal substances
- Weapons
4.1 Consequences of Violation
Violation of the prohibited items policy may result in immediate termination of your rental agreement without refund. Additionally, legal action may be pursued if necessary.
5. Insurance and Liability
Uxbridge Self Storage is not liable for any damages or losses of stored items unless caused by our negligence. It is highly recommended to obtain insurance for valuable items.
5.1 Insurance Options

5.2 Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to direct damages only. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential damages.
6. Termination of Agreement
You may terminate the rental agreement by providing a 30-day written notice. Upon termination, ensure the unit is vacated and returned in its original condition.
6.1 Early Termination
If you wish to terminate the agreement before the end of the rental period, an early termination fee may apply as specified in your rental agreement.
6.2 Refund Policy
Refunds for any prepaid months will be processed upon successful vacating of the storage unit and confirmation that no damages have occurred.
7. Modifications to Terms
Uxbridge Self Storage reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated to renters via email or posted in the facility.
7.1 Acceptance of Changes
Continued use of the storage services constitutes acceptance of any modifications to the terms. It is your responsibility to stay informed about any changes.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Uxbridge Self Storage operates. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the local courts.
8.1 Dispute Resolution
We encourage resolving disputes amicably. If necessary, mediation or arbitration can be sought as alternative dispute resolution methods.
9. Additional Terms
Additional clauses may apply based on specific circumstances or services utilized.
9.1 Severability
If any provision of these terms is found invalid, the remaining terms will continue to be enforceable.
9.2 Entire Agreement
These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Uxbridge Self Storage, superseding any prior agreements.

By signing the rental agreement, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
